This tree plantation drive was a part of the broader Quetta City Environmental Enhancement Plan, initiated by Rotary Club Quetta and the Environment Department, Government of Balochistan.
So far, over 15,000 trees have been planted at various locations across Quetta City. The initiative ensures that trees are planted within enclosed compounds, with access to water and a dedicated caretaker. Furthermore, it encourages institutions and residents of Quetta to come forward and join hands in this green movement. Those interested in planting trees in their residential areas or institutions are invited to reach out and become part of the initiative.
