The department oversees a broad range of administrative and operational domains, ensuring a safe, functional, and student-friendly environment at BUITEMS. Our key responsibilities include:

Campus Security and Safety
  • Managing comprehensive security services across all campuses.
  • Ensuring a secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Transport Services
  • Providing transportation facilities for staff, students, and university operations.
  • Managing the fleet and ensuring efficient and timely services.
Contracts & Consultancies
  • Handling internal and external contracts with individuals, consultants, and firms.
  • Overseeing transparent and efficient procurement and consultancy processes.
Canteen and Hospitality
  • Supervising canteen operations to maintain hygiene and service quality.
  • Managing the Guest House and Lodges for university guests and visitors.
Legal and Regulatory Affairs
  • Correspondence with legal advisors for matters related to university policies and compliance.
  • Managing masjid-related affairs within the university premises.
Facilities and Infrastructure
  • Reporting and supervising to Directorate of Planning and Development the Repair and maintenance work of university buildings and facilities.
  • Overseeing gardening and landscaping to enhance campus aesthetics.
Campus Life and Accommodation
  • Administration of Male and Female Hostels ensuring safety, comfort, and discipline. • Providing quality services at Day Care Centers for staff and students' families.
  • Managing university Halls and event spaces for academic and cultural activities.
Special Projects and Government Schemes
  • Execution of various government and non-government initiatives.
  • Supporting university and national projects that promote educational and social welfare.
Event Management
Organizing major university events including:
  • Convocations
  • Balochistan Literary Festival (PLF)
  • Quetta Literary Festival (QLF)
Campus-Specific Activities
Managing and coordinating activities in:
  • Chilton Campus
  • Law Campus – Jinnah Town
Student Services
  • Addressing a wide range of student-related issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Ensuring student satisfaction and well-being across all facilities.
Main Stores and Asset Management
  • Overseeing the Main Stores for efficient resource allocation and inventory management.
Testing and Assessment Services
  • Providing administrative support for Testing Services related to admissions and assessments.
