BUITEMS & Balochistan Directorate of Tourism celebrated “World Wildlife Day” on 3rd March 2022. A seminar sponsored by the Directorate of Tourism was conducted to highlight the importance of wildlife conservation and its benefits for initiating sustainable tourism in the province. Participants from the Balochistan Forest & Wildlife Department and the local community members of Takatu Mountain along with BUITEMS Dean Faculty of Life Sciences & Informatics, Dr Nazeer Ahmed, Director Tourism, Zia Ur Rehman and Assistant Professor Zoology, Jamal Abdul Nasir from Science College Quetta attended the seminar. Takatu mountain is quite rich in wildlife where more conservation efforts are required. Efforts of all these people will play a key role in initiating wildlife tourism in Balochistan.
