BUITEMS and BTTN Hold Joint Seminar on “Marka-e-Haq”

Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, in collaboration with the Balochistan Think Tank Network, organized a joint seminar titled “Commemoration of Marka-e-Haq: Pakistan’s Resolute Response to Indian Military Aggression” on 7 May 2026 at the BTTN Conference Hall, Takatu Campus, BUITEMS.
The event commenced with a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony at the Vice Chancellor's Secretariat, followed by the National Anthem and recitation from the Holy Quran. The seminar brought together faculty members, researchers, students, and policy experts to discuss the regional strategic environment and Pakistan’s response to recent regional developments.
Opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Zafar Khan, Executive Director BTTN, while the keynote address was presented by Prof. Dr. Aurangzaib Alamgir, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities, BUITEMS. Research officers from BTTN delivered presentations on regional security, deterrence, strategic challenges, and Pakistan’s national response.
Addressing the seminar as Chief Guest, Brig. (R) Agha Ahmad Gul emphasized the importance of national cohesion, strategic awareness, and intellectual engagement among youth. In his concluding remarks, Vice Chancellor BUITEMS, Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez, highlighted the role of universities in promoting informed dialogue, national unity, and academic research on regional and global affairs.
The seminar reflected BUITEMS’ continued commitment to fostering academic discourse, policy research, and national engagement, while providing a platform for constructive discussion on issues of regional and strategic importance.
