Education Department Students Organize Stationery Support and Learning Facilitation Activity at BUITEMS Colony School

The students of the Department of Education (BS Education, 8th Semester Practicum, Sections A & B) organized a community-based activity titled “Stationery Support and Learning Facilitation Activity” on 16 June 2026 at BUITEMS Colony School.
The activity was arranged by the 8th-semester practicum students, who voluntarily contributed and purchased stationery items for the school children. The primary objective of the initiative was to provide basic learning materials to students and to promote awareness among future teachers about the importance of addressing both academic and basic learning needs of school-going children. The activity was conducted under the supervision of Ms. Khalida Naaz, Lecturer, Department of Education, BUITEMS. The event was attended by Professor Dr. Abdul Wadood, Director Students Affairs; Syed Dara Shikoh Amir, Director Communications; Ms. Palwasha Tareen, Chairperson, Department of Education; and Ms. Zarmeena Panezai, Lecturer, Department of Education.
During the event, the distinguished guests joined the students of BS Education 8th Semester (Sections A & B) in distributing stationery items among the students of BUITEMS Colony School. They appreciated the efforts, commitment, and social responsibility demonstrated by the practicum students and encouraged them to continue contributing positively to the community through such meaningful initiatives.
The activity highlighted the importance of community engagement, educational support, and the role of prospective teachers in promoting inclusive and supportive learning environments for all children.
