On May 20, 2025, the National Incubation Center (NIC) BUITEMS had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for the formal handover of lab equipment to the Maker-Lab.
The delegation comprised Mr. Tesfaye Bekele, Provincial Head of UNHCR, and Mr. Abdul Ahad Khan Tareen, Livelihood and Economic Inclusion Associate. The guests were received with great warmth by Prof. Dr. Mirwais Kasi, Pro Vice Chancellor BUITEMS, and Mr. Muhammad Shah, Director NIC BUITEMS.
A highlight of the visit was a comprehensive presentation by Director NIC, showcasing the center’s ongoing initiatives, milestones, and its role in nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
