Tree Plantation Drive by Department of Environmental Science

The Department of Environmental Science, under the Faculty of Life Sciences and Informatics, organized a Tree Plantation Drive with the newly admitted students of the Fall-2024 Batch. The initiative was held as part of the department’s commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and fostering a sense of ecological responsibility among students.

In this meaningful activity, each student planted one tree, taking personal responsibility for its care and growth until their graduation. This symbolic gesture reflects the department's mission to instill environmental stewardship as a core value in future graduates.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all departmental members, who stood alongside students to contribute to a greener campus. Their involvement reinforced the importance of collective effort in addressing environmental challenges.

The trees for the plantation were generously sponsored by the Forest and Wildlife Department, Balochistan. Their support played a vital role in the successful execution of the event and was deeply appreciated by the faculty and students alike.

Such initiatives not only enhance the green cover of the campus but also serve as a practical learning experience, linking theoretical knowledge with real-world environmental action.
