BUITEMS Successfully Concludes 1st T-12 Tape Ball Cricket Tournament (Faculty & Admin)
Quetta, May 7, 2025 – The Directorate of Sports, BUITEMS, led by Mr. Abdul Qadeem Kakar, successfully organized the 1st T-12 Tape Ball Cricket Tournament (Faculty & Admin) from April 21 to May 7, 2025. The tournament brought together faculty and administrative teams in a display of sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit.
The event was officially inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez, who graced the opening ceremony and commended the Directorate of Sports for its commitment to promoting healthy activities on campus.
Tournament Highlights
A total of nine teams participated in the tournament, representing different faculties and administrative units:
• Muslim Bagh Campus
• Seven Faculty Teams
• Two Administrative Teams
Over the course of the event, 13 matches were played at the BUITEMS Cricket Ground, marked by excitement, enthusiasm, and a spirit of camaraderie.
The grand finale took place on May 7, 2025, between the Faculty of Engineering & Architecture (FoE&A) and Admin-1. In a thrilling contest, the FoE&A team emerged victorious, defeating Admin-1 by 21 runs.
Award Ceremony and Honorees
The closing ceremony was honored by Prof. Dr. Mirwais Kasi, Pro Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, who served as the Chief Guest. Prizes were distributed by:

• Best Batsman of the Tournament: Dr. Abdul Rehman, Assistant Professor, FBS
• Man of the Series: Mr. Barkat Ali, FoE&A
• Man of the Match (Final): Mr. Barkat Ali (60 runs and 1 wicket)
