BUITEMS Organizes the 8th Annual Job Fair in Collaboration with the Balochistan Board of Investment & Trade

The Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), in partnership with the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), successfully organized the 8th Annual Job Fair at the BUITEMS campus. The event was formally inaugurated by the Governor of Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail.
The opening ceremony was attended by a large number of representatives from public and private organizations, faculty members, and students. Distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Vice Chancellor BUITEMS; Bilal Khan Kakar, Vice Chairman BBoIT; Prof. Dr. Mirwais Kasi, Pro Vice Chancellor BUITEMS; and Mr. Mohammad Ahsan Achakzai, Registrar (Acting), BUITEMS.
In his address, the Governor of Balochistan praised BUITEMS for its academic and research contributions and emphasized the significance of job fairs in creating new opportunities for the youth. He stated that the young people of Balochistan possess immense potential, and platforms like the BUITEMS Job Fair play a vital role in connecting them with national and international organizations.
BUITEMS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez highlighted the university’s commitment not only to imparting quality education but also to facilitating employment opportunities for its graduates. He shared that last year’s job fair generated around 1,000 job and internship opportunities, whereas this year the number has impressively increased to 5,000, reflecting both the capability of BUITEMS students and the success of the university’s strategic initiatives.
Speaking at the event, Bilal Khan Kakar noted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the Government of Balochistan has launched several youth-focused programs aimed at ensuring a brighter future for the province’s emerging professionals.
Registrar (Acting) Mr. Mohammad Ahsan Achakzai reaffirmed that BUITEMS continues to play a key role in guiding young people not only academically but also professionally. He mentioned that the objective of the job fair is to directly connect students with industrial, commercial, and government organizations so they can better understand the demands of the professional world. The job fair featured participation from leading companies across Pakistan, including reputable firms from the banking sector, IT industry, manufacturing sector, and various government departments. Employers conducted on-spot interviews and interacted extensively with students. The students participated in large numbers and expressed that the event provided them with an excellent opportunity to explore career pathways.
The chief guest and other dignitaries visited the stalls, appreciated the efforts of BUITEMS, and commended the university’s ongoing commitment to shaping the future of youth in Balochistan.
