Entrepreneurship skills are increasingly important to help the labor force change the economy. These skills refer to entrepreneurial mindsets and the skills needed to start and successfully operate a business. Entrepreneurship skills will benefit all, regardless of whether they start a business or not, because entrepreneurial behavior can be an asset in any workplace.

Around the world, entrepreneurs are often hailed as "drivers of innovation" or "agents of change." But what does this mean for the poor or vulnerable — those far removed from bustling tech hubs? In developing countries, innovative entrepreneurs create jobs and boost economic development while extending essential products and services to those who need them most.

The Balochistan Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (BEB) will be the first of its kind to cater to the Province's needs. Faculty and students of Business Education from Public and Private Sector Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of Balochistan will have a chance to pitch their business ideas, refine and develop their business plans through sophisticated software (LivePlan), and get a chance to participate in the world-famous '$100 Exercise'.

BEB aims to provide a conducive learning environment for participants who are encouraged to learn from their mistakes and be motivated to redo things. Through challenges, team-building sessions, and project workshops, participants will expand their business knowledge and develop their enterprise ideas throughout the program. Gaining new perspectives and accessing expertise may help the students become future business owners and leaders.

The participating HEIs in BEB are the University of Balochistan, Sardar Bahadur Khan Women's University, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water & Marine Sciences, University of Turbat, University of Loralai, Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi, University of Gwadar, and Alhamd Islamic University.
