A virtual symposium hosted by BUITEMS, Quetta
The Covid-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the global economy and has pushed the world into one of the worst economic crises in recent history. The International Symposium on Building economic resilience against pandemics will bring together economists focusing on Sustainable Development Goal 8 (i.e., Decent Work and Economic Growth) and disseminate findings from the impact of Covid 19 on the local and global economy.
Being the global hub of the United Nations Academic Impact for SDG-8, the Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta, endeavors to explore and showcase ideas that can help prepare the developing world with economic models that are resilient to future pandemics.
