Planning & Projects
Planning is the key to sustainable development of any organization. Directorate
of Planning & Projects was established with the aim of achieving the goal of
bringing the university at par with the top universities in the country. The Directorate
of Planning & Projects comprises of two main sections which are Maintenance
Section and Project Section.
Being established university, the project section is a quite busy section as many
infrastructure development projects funded by Higher Education Commission and Provincial
government are going. Along with the development projects, the maintenance of existing
buildings is a continuous feature. Keeping in view the importance of the directorate
the present management is focusing on strengthening the Directorate.

Objectives
- To strengthen the infrastructure facilities.
- To provide a healthier learning environment and modern facilities.
- To develop the university as a well reputed research institute.
- To plan and facilitate human resource development.
Functions
- Preparation of Development projects and development budgets.
- Managing the use of development funds.
- Administration works and coordination with teaching and non teaching departments
relevant to infrastructure development and maintenance.
- Managing the tendering for procurement of works and equipments.
- Coordination with donor agencies and ministries for approval of schemes.
- Coordination with consultants , contractors and suppliers.
