The Department of Management Sciences will be nationally known for scholarly excellence
in management, education and research. In collaboration with business, industry,
government, Universities and the community, the Department will be a catalyst in
the process of social change and economic development through creation and dissemination
of knowledge of the highest standards in Pakistan. |

MISSION STATEMENT |

The Department of Management Sciences is committed to imparting high quality education
in various disciplines of management sciences along with growing portfolio of research
designed to influence managerial policies, management practices and corporate governance.
In collaboration with business and industry, the department is devoted to
function as an agent in process of planned social change and economic development through
creation and dissemination of knowledge of the highest standards in Pakistan. |

OBJECTIVES |
- To develop student’s presentation skills, analytical thinking faculties and critical
understanding of management issues.
- To develop creative abilities to evolve prudent and innovative solutions.
- To develop human resource for undertaking research on the basic issues and problems
confronting the various sectors of economy.
- To enable human resource to acquire expertise in specialized functional areas of
management sciences.

To achieve its educational mission, the DMS has developed profession-focused academic
programs and curriculum for students to learn management in business society. The
Department of Management Sciences offers the following study programmes.

• Master of Business Administration (Morning)
• Master of Business Administration (Banking & Finance)
2.2. Evening Study Program
• Master of Business Administration (Executive)
• Master of Business Administration (For four years BSBA graduates)
• Master of Business Administration (Afternoon Self-Support Based
Program)
