Overview |

The authorities at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering
and Management Sciences Quetta decided to make major changes to the faculties of
the university and created a new faculty namely the Faculty of Arts and Basic Sciences
This restructuring was approved by the Senate in 2007 in its second meeting. This
new faculty has brought five important departments within one faculty, thus making
access easy. |

who seek it, and become a top grade centre of excellent teaching and brilliant learning
through Innovation, Extensive Research and world-class teaching, with the Help of
Dedicated teachers, motivated researchers and talented students. |

Mission |

Our mission is to provide to the students of various professions and disciplines,
sound knowledge of basic sciences --- a necessary tool in all applied sciences,
engineering and technology, and of arts and humanities which make them socially
responsible citizens with a high cultural level and also inculcate in them an inquisitive
mind and the capability to question conventional wisdom. |

To offer excellent and varied courses of study at the undergraduate level
as well as selected graduate programs. To offer liberal education through freedom
of choice To encourage students to explore a wide area of academic interests and
to acquire diverse research skills.
