Department of Telecommunication Engineering
Mission
We, assist students to specialize in the field of telecommunications design, to
implement and manage hardware, software systems for processing and transmitting
different types of information, using their knowledge of electronics, signal processing
and networking techniques, to meet the demands of emerging industry of Telecommunication
in Pakistan.
Aims and Objectives
- To provide students a strong foundationin Mathematics as well as extensive practice
in the design and operation of both hardware and software systems.
- To enhance students communication skills and familiarize them with project management
and quality control techniques.
- To enable students design telecommunication devices, circuits and systems and obtain
employment in leading telecommunication companies in Pakistan and abroad.
- To provide students access to the latest radio and optical communication devices
for experiments.
