Department of Geological Engineering
At Department of Geological Engineering, we are committed to developing Geological Engineers of high caliber; to explore the unexploited geological potentials of Pakistan in general & Balochistan in particular.

Mission

The Department of Geological Engineering is  committed to using teaching technology to enhance student learning and continuing a program of excellence in research to provide students with the necessary skills to achieve success in their future professional careers not only in Pakistan but through out the world.

Objectives

  • To introduce competent Geological engineers in the Geological, Geotechnical, Hydrological, Exploration and Geosciences field.
     
  • To enable students adopt systematic approach towards exploration of minerals, oil & gas and coal deposits.
     
  • To enable students adopt systematic approach towards ground water problem, storage and contamination.
     
  • To enable students adopt systematic approach towards geo Site investigation, design of foundation, site characterization, design construction, remediation and waste disposal sites and assessment of geological hazards
