Societies and Clubs

Five different societies are formed for smooth and effective function of the Students Affairs Office. These societies help to meet the recreational and vocational needs of students, who also bring with them a rich blend of co-curricular interests.

•  Islamic Society: It assists not only the students but also the teachers and administrative staff in solving their various problems in the light of Quran and Sunnah. The society organizes Qiraat and Naat competitions on regular basis. It also arranges lectures of religious scholars of national fame.

• Literary Society: It is a society which is composed of Student Writers and Poets of various languages such as English, Urdu, Pashto, Brahvi, Balochi, etc. It also develops the poetic skills of students. This society organizes Mushaira and assists Student Affairs Coordinator in the annual university magazine.

•  Debating Society: It is composed of those students who have strong debating skills as well as good general knowledge. This society provides a platform for students to further develop their debating skills. The major highlights are the annual inter-university debates and quiz competition. Society has been sending the students to participate in national, regional and international Debating Championships.

• Dramatic Society: It is composed of Student Actors/Actresses and singers who are interested in dramas, stage shows performances, songs and ghazals. The society holds drama and music festival each year. It also organizes fun fairs in the university.

•  Sports Society: It is composed of those student players and athletes who have interest in various games such as football, cricket, hockey, badminton, table tennis, weight lifting, chess, rifle shooting, tug of war and many more. The society organizes provincial and national level tournaments
